A lifelong Californian, Annelies was raised in the state's capitol, which is also where her acting career first began to flourish. Since her first musical, Annelies' acting career has taken new heights journeying through ensemble to leading lady, varying genre's, and other positions within the industry such as director and choreographer. Along with working with a script, Annelies has also become a passionate improviser, training in both short and long form, and being apart of organizations like ComedySportz and Improv Revolution. In June of 2019, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor's Degree in Drama.

In July of 2023, Annelies graduated with her MFA in Acting from East 15 Acting School at the University of Essex. She currently resides in London, England, where she is pursuing her career.
